This fertilizer
was developed to be the most efficient product for use in the early spring
for first cut silage as it will provide a balance of nutrients to complement
the use of slurry and can be supplemented by NITRAM later in the year
to provide the optimum nitrogen rate.
FIRST CUT,
with the analysis 15.15.20, has however found favour with many arable
farmers who use it as a seedbed fertilizer for early sown spring crops
and as a complete fertilizer for potatoes.

- FIRST
CUT is a balanced analysis for most early spring situations
- FIRST
CUT supplies all the phosphate for the silage crop ensuring it is applied
at the time of most efficient use
- FIRST
CUT provides sufficient nitrogen to be used as a 'starter' fertilizer
in spring
- FIRST
CUT balances the use of slurry for the silage crop

- FIRST
CUT gives the best possible start to silage crops
- FIRST
CUT is cost effective as it enables good use of farm nutrients
- FIRST
CUT provides flexibility to top up with the correct amount of nitrogen
- FIRST
CUT can be used across a wide range of crops minimising the need for
different products
